Hank Bernbaum1 month agoLove this dealership. Always happy with their process and the experience. Service department is excellent, facility is awesome. Sales team is nonpressure and very helpful.
Wilhelm2 months agoThis dealership keeps impressing me with new levels of service. I'm not sure why anyone who go anywhere else to buy or service their vehicles
Byron Turner2 months agoI purchased a 2018 Porsche Panamera in Georgia, but had my 10K service done at the Porsche Exchange, while on vacation in the Chicago area. It was easy to get an appointment and the service advisor was extremely helpful, professional, and knowledgeable. The work was completed when promised and overall it was a fantastic experience.
Peter H3 months agoAlways great service for the past eight years. I like their long and flexible hours of operation and their taking a sincere interest in all of my needs
CCC3 months agoSuper low pressure with great knowledge and passion.
Not sure3 months agoGreat service I was walked through the whole process took me last minute very polite folks here from the receptionist to service.the little perks were nice also e.g. car wash free inspection free coffee cookies
RH4 months agoThis dealer provides Great customer service! They are helpful in explaining the issues and taking care to answer any questions you may have. I would highly recommend them for your next purchase or service.
Dave S6 months agoHave 2 vehicles, an 07 911 bought certified preowned and a 2014 Cayenne also CPO. Very satisfied with the vehicles and the dealership. We drive 45 mi south , instead of 20 min north because of the selection and service, free rental cars if needed, and an excellent new facility with great staff!
Richard Feist6 months agoMy new car should have been detailed better. The Paint & Glass was in poor condition. Vehicle had been in stock quite some time and needed to be buffed out. I would not have delivered a $100,000 car in that condition. I think dealerships forget that this is a major purchase for some customers and that the product should be in first class condition.
Shelley2 days agoHighly recommend highland park Porsche. Excellent service, went out of their way to accommodate me with no appointment and take care of the issue immediately
Hdfl961 month agoI have purchased multiple Porsche’s from this dealership! Michael Semersky is pleasure to work with as well as Mario in service! Keep up the great work!
timothy23091 month agoThanks to Chris for a great experience with my new Macan purchase. Love the car I ended up with, and appreciated the great range of vehicles at the dealer.
Adam2 months agoGreat service, feel welcome and awesome floor. Nice place to hang out while your car is i service. Nicest Dealer in the Midwest. Thank you.
Bob1112503 months agoTony Busuego, our advisor, was over-the-top professional. He kept us informed every step of the process and explained everything in detail If I was not retired I would try to “steal” him! He went far beyond what was necessary. I am not a wealthy man and sometimes cringe at the prices but I own 2 and am always astounded at the level of service. Mario, the service manager and Mike Semersky have always treated me similarly. This is the only car dealership that I actually look forward to going to. If you had 10 stars I would give them to all my contacts at The Exchange. Thanks, Bob
Mike P.4 months agoThe entire experience was very professional. Paul M. was our sales agent and he was one of the most knowledgeable I came across, as I did have discussions w/a few other dealers too. Never did we feel pressured to do anything. Paul's approach was to make sure we were comfortable with everything. The feeling is this place will do everything to make the customer experience painless, as well as convenient. Paul also spent a good 30-45mins w/us post sale programming the car to both my wife's and my preferred settings. Rocco, in finance, continued the customer friendly treatment during the final paperwork too! The in house barista is an added benefit! Mike P.
Mike6 months agoProduct, sales, service, and experience are all top of the line! They make everything easy and efficient. I highly recommend The Exchange. i have been a customer for a decade.
Eric19697 months agoCasey Lewis is very friendly and very helpfull. as soon as i arrive fir my service he approach me right away with a smile and said how can i help you today
SMK in Chicago10 months agoI purchased a Macan S with the help from a wonderful sales person Paul Michalczyk last year. He is not just in sales, but his background being an engineer really helped me learn and appreciate my car. I had never quite cared much about cars before, but Paul has changed that and now I hope to one day drive a 911 when my child goes off to college. I hope Paul will help me select all my future cars. Porsche Exchange is a dealership no like others; everyone there is extremely professional with wonderful hospitality, and they are just truly classy people. Knowing not much about cars, I always ask silly questions, but they always make me feel welcome. When I drop off my car, I always look forward to seeing KC as he's the nicest and sweetest person to hand my key to. His sense of humour always makes me want to stop by the Porsche Exchange. I brought in my car for what I thought was malfunctioning parking sensors, but it was just that my car was dirty. I was horrified to have troubled them, but KC and Alex were extremely warm and taught me great tips. Prior to buying from them, I went to another dealer in Western suburbs and was treated horribly. They took one look at me, sized me up, and didn't even greet me. Everyone at the Porsche Exchange are welcoming and I'm glad I chose this dealership. It turns out that a few of my friends are fan of this dealership and now I know why. They are just the best, and their wonderful baristas make great craft coffee drinks!
Jonathan11 months agoMy experience purchasing a 911 from The Porsche Exchange was extremely positive. If you are thinking about purchasing a Porsche, I would highly recommend calling the Exchange and asking to speak with Paul M, one of their brand ambassadors. First, Paul was a Porsche mechanic for many years before the sales role, so I found his perspective to be very helpful when discussing build options. Second, he listened very carefully to what I wanted and provided detailed, specific feedback, as opposed to trying to tell me what I should want. For example, I knew I didn’t want to pay $2950 for the sports exhaust system, even though this is ordered on perhaps the majority of 911’s these days. Due to this preference and other unusual options I wanted, he suggested I consider ordering one with the exact specs I wanted. A few thoughts in case they are helpful for a first time Porsche buyer. (1) There are a limited number of Premier Porsche dealerships in the country. This is a designation earned annually based on sales volume. Porsche’s have far more options than most cars, so it is highly unlikely you’ll find one in stock that is exactly what you want. This means it may be worth ordering one, and if ordering one, Premier dealerships have more build slots, so you can likely get it faster (and at a better price) through one of these. I got mine in two and a half months. (2) Take the time to consider every option carefully. Paul was really great about walking around the dealership showing me alternative examples for each option. There are so many options. It’s worth going to a dealership that has all the variations there so you can see them in person. (3) Consider getting the GT Sport Steering Wheel with multi-function and the SportDesign side mirrors painted in the car’s color, instead of the regular multi-function wheel and Standard design auto-dimming mirrors. Note also the Carrera 4 is wider (72.9” x vs 71.2”) and the GTS is lower (0.4”), in case these matter. For example, you especially might want to consider the Front Axle Lift Suspension option on the GTS depending on where you drive. (4) It’s hard to find manual transmissions, and IMO it’s the only way to go. Yes, the PDK is better on a track, but I’m not into that and the manual really is excellent in terms of the driving experience. (5) If going in to actually purchase, be prepared in advance to discuss the following: (a) a pre-paid maintenance plan for up to 5 years/50k miles, (b) extended warranties, up to 10 years/100k miles, with a $250 or $100 deductible (the later is zero if work is done at the dealership of purchase), but also separate coverage options for tires, dents, etc.. Personally, I found the terms compelling for the 10yr/75k Porsche Platinum Protection Plan but not the others. FWIW I generally do not consider extended warranties on anything worth it. (c) a clear bra, which is a 3M urethane film to protect the paint finish of the car. There are a few options in terms of how much of the car to cover. I like covering the full front (i.e., full, not partial hood) and you could consider wrapping the rear bumper as well (I didn’t). I wasn’t sure if I’d be happy with how this would look, but they did a really excellent job with it. It isn’t noticeable at all. I’m glad I had them add this. If uncertain, ask to see cars with the different variations and without it. (d) cilajet to protect the interior/exterior. Personally, I'm a no on that. (6) Sign up online for Porsche Car Connect before picking up your car so that you have the installation code ready to go for them to program before you leave, otherwise you’ll need to go back a few days later once you figure this out. So, regarding all these things, I’d recommend doing your own research in advance and knowing what you might want, what you don’t, and what the alternative options may or may not be worth to you. Overall, a great experience – thanks Paul, Michael, Rocco, Tony, and Bruce.
Paul Kopecki1 month agoTire warranty replacement. In and out within the hour. No hassle with claim paperwork. This is how it should be done. Kudos, Porsche Exchange! 10-11-18 two year maintenance. Treated like a king. Macan S loaner. Same half day service. Spotless hand wash. These guys get it right.
Laki Nikokavouras1 month agoThe overall experience was excellent, but when I dropped off my car it took a little longer then expected. Over all I’d say it was a 4.5 star.
Doug Phillips1 month agoVery accommodating and easy to work with. I scheduled routine service with a loaner car. Upon arrival Chris checked me in, reviewed the service work to be completed, and told me exactly what my service would cost. I was then handed off to a young lady who presented my loaner car (a brand new, 700 mile Macan S), answered any questions about the car and I was on my way. When I returned the loaner, a bar code identified my arrival on the overhead screens and I was greeted by name. Chris reviewed the service notes, and I saw my car arrive in the service bay. That bar code must also prompt the porters because as soon as I ate a hot fresh baked chocolate croissant, had a cup of cinnamon tea and paid my bill....I. was on my way! The only reason I was at the dealership more then 5 minuets was because I wanted to be there. I highly recommend The Porsche Exchange for service.
Stephen Phelps2 months agoI’ve never been more pleased with a purchase than I am with my recent purchase from Porsche Exchange. I’m more than happy to drive past my previous dealership of the same brand and go another 15 miles. Not only was Porsche Exchange recommended by everyone, Chris Barnaba made the car buying experience exactly as it should be...fun. The true test came when a rusty nail caused a flat in my two-week old Porsche. Service Consultant Tony Busuego treated me like royalty and followed up the next day to see if their work met my expectation. No; their work exceeded my expectation. A class act!
Alan Freemond2 months agoI have had several interactions with the folks at the Porsche Exchange - all excellent experiences. My first experience was with Paul M. when I was searching for a pre-owned car. Paul's long history with Porsche, his knowledge and understanding of the cars is obvious. His disarming and consultative approach were greatly appreciated and are great attributes for any sales professional. After two visits, he knew the car I wanted wasn't in their inventory and politely wished me luck in my search with the hopes I would be back as a future and long term customer - No Glengarry Glen Ross here. Excellent interface! After finding my car elsewhere, I spoke with Mike B. in Finance to discuss an extended warranty. He explained my options in clear language and has been very helpful. I recently had my "new-for-me" car inspected by the Exchange. Mike O. made the appointment, he was polite, patient and very professional. Upon arriving for my appointment, Chris greeted me and shepherded me through the process. He explained the results of the inspection in detail and made two suggestions (new tires and battery in the coming months). Chris' knowledge was evident, and his consultative approach is/was terrific. Very pleased so far!

Mike Farrell3 months agoChris Barnaba is very knowledgeable and has a great attitude. He is a hard core driver and really knows and loves his cars. I will continue to use him.
Marie S.3 months agoI bought a Cayman S from Michael this week. What an excellent experience! I am so grateful for his assistance and that of everyone else at the dealership. If you are in the market for a Porsche, don't go anywhere else. First class service.
Rob K.9 months agoI just want to say I had the best Experience with Nick Kopp. He was very knowledgable, professional, and most importantly not rude. I went to many Porsche dealers and most were good but Nick and The Porsche Exchange were exceptional. I was really upside down on my Mercedes but he got me the best lease deal on a new Cayman and got me out the door fast. Even got the extended maintenance from Mike Bartuch, which once you calculate all the numbers was a no brainer. Highly recommend Nick and the Exchange. Save your self the headache and most importantly time wasted! p.s. Make sure you stay away from Napleton Porsche and Jessica. Review on that experience coming soon.
Oski B.1 year agoI can't say enough good things about the Porsche Exchange. I was having the absolute worst experience trying to buy a car from another Chicago area Porsche dealer that will go unnamed (*cough* Loebers Moters *cough*). Sorry, I had something in my throat. The fine people at Porsche Exchanged saved me and turned an awful car buying experience into a wonderful car buying experience. If you're in the market for a new Porsche definitely go to the Porsche Exchange . . . and ask for Nick Kopp. The guy is great - one of the best salesmen I have ever interacted with. He conducts himself with integrity, is transparent about the purchasing process and goes the extra mile to make sure that you get what you want and that you're taken car of.Overall, I believe that the Porsche Exchange cares about their customers and is not trying to nickle & dime anybody (they gave me a great deal on my car and threw in all-weather mats, including the trunk mat, and a lighting cable without me even asking for such items).
Jon B.1 year agoExcellent dealership and service. The buying experience was stress free, no pressure, informative and not hurried. And the service is always courteous, timely and efficient. And, based on a recent experience where my Porsche Cayenne Turbo had a mechanical failure, this dealership went to bat for me with Porsche and got the problem fixed. Bottom line. If you are going to buy a Porsche and keep it serviced, this is THE dealership to go to. Jon Biasetti.
J C.1 year agoI'm a longtime looker but a new new-car customer of The Porsche Exchange. I have never seen such an extreme high level of customer service in my life. Everyone of their employees seems to care about providing first class customer service.
Matthew S.1 year agoThe parts department here has been absolutely amazing in helping address and resolve fuel supply issues with my 2009 Cayenne S. Very friendly. Extremely knowledgeable. And willing to go the extra mile in answering any and all questions. Great pricing. Highly recommended them to all my Porsche enthusiast colleagues! In particular Vlad, Larry and Joe have been wonderful.
Shawn H.1 year agoI just bought a GT3RS in Ultraviolet from Michael at Porsche Exchange. It has been a true pleasure to work with him. He made the transaction very smooth. I live in San Diego and just had the car dropped off at my warehouse. Michael was VERY patient with me. The process went faster than I expected. He sent all the paperwork even before the car came. He added a car cover as gift which was very nice and I cannot thank him enough. I will definitely be buying my next Porsche from him!
Roy O.2 years agoI have purchased three cars from the Porsche Exchange in the last three years and found each experience to be positive. I'll even say that they went above and beyond to help me after a very negative experience at the Milwaukee dealership; something they did not have to do. I have enjoyed working with Michael and recommend him and the dealership.
Boss H.2 years agoPorsched Exchange Service rocks! My 1st visit there was 8 months ago was great...Service Associate (Josh) could not have been more accommodating. Dropped off car in the AM, and in 10 minutes drove off in the Porsche Cayenne free loaner. Later that day got a call from Josh that my Macan was ready. All work (maintenance) done perfectly, and everything was covered by the warranty so my bill was $0.00.Yesterday I was there again for an oil change and a PCM update. As I arrived I was amazed by the quality of there just built Sales and Service Facility...wow! The Large Service Bay are was Spotless. I was met by Service Associate (Tony) with a smile. He put me in the computer and then typed in my 5 point list of Service Requests. Printed out the work order and asked me to make sure it covered everything I need (it did.) Then he said he'd call me when it was ready...I started debating (out loud with myself) about my schedule and traffic downtown and whether I would be back this evening or tomorrow.... At that point another Service.Associate (David) said "Hey Sir I go your way every night...I would be happy to bring it to you and take the loaner (was a 2017 Macan with 750 miles on the clock) if it helps."-- WOW!Later that evening (4:00 PM or so) I get a call from Tony saying the PCM Update is giving us trouble but the Tech (no pun intended) said he'll keep on it until it's complete. David is still planning to bring your Macan back to you this evening.Couple of hours later David showed up, handed me my car key and a $0.00 (all covered under warranty) invoice, and picked up my loaner. THANKS David! My experiences at PE Service could not have been better--give them a try.
Bita F.2 years agoYesterday I bought a brand new Porsche Boxter from this dealer. Despite a couple issues we came upon, they took care of it to my satisfaction. The sales manager, my sales man Chris & the other sales man David, were very professional, nice & knowledgeable. I highly recommend this dealer. (they are in the middle of construction but the new building looks fabulous!)
